We have an ASUS Q302LA laptop whose power button stopped working recently. Upon opening the laptop and taking out the battery, we found that the power button mechanism had essentially fallen apart and tiny pieces were floating around in the chassis. We found one small black plastic piece and the tiny metal shell that goes around it. I have the side connector panel off and I can see how the power button operates, but I'm not sure how to get the two pieces to stay together on the PCB. Thoughts? Here's a crappy little video of my situation.

Thanks for your help.
i cant tell any part details from the video (even after the focused part at the end) but it does look like a simple smd switch, so i would just replace the whole thing (requires soldering thou)
