2: are the corrupted ones former members of the rebellion? how do you know that this isn't what they'd intended all along?

3: have they twisted the original message, or has the situation changed and now requires a different approach?

get used to this. as education becomes less of a priority, we're going to see more people who can't put a simple sentence together. the ability to guess what they mean from the fragments of gibberish they manage to produce is going to be essential.
