How can I make text strokes in Gimp quickly? Or can someone write an action (is that even possible?) that makes a white 3 pixel stroke around the current text layer I'm on? I don't want to make a new layer, crop it, choose my text layer and then do all the other shit just for a stroke every single time.
Not gonna lie, GIMP being straight cancer for stroking text is why I got Photoshop in the first place.
nab here, never even touched photoshop once, and only recently started playing around with gimp

>main menu -> edit -> stroke path

That just overwrites the layer and instead of having black text with a white stroke you get [insert color] with [insert same color] stroke making it look like a fat piece of shit.
