Hello /wsr/, I pored over how-to guides on Photoshop and have tried my hand, very delicately, at removing graphic text from a background, but I just cannot smooth edges and give it a perfectly black / transparent background without destroying the edges.

Here is the base I keep working with before I always fuck it up. Any chance anyone can clean up these edges and put it to transparent background?
