Hi /wsr/,
I'm designing a logo for a nightclub event and not sure what it should look like, I'll post my ideas.
It's to say Risqué, I want it to look professional but also appealing for obvious reasons.

They look gross, my advice is look for ideas online and just try to mimic the styles. By having a cracked copy of Photoshop doesn't make you a graphic designer.

Most logos for events dont take that much thought. You could just use the first one you made without the emboss. That looks really hideous. Also add more space between the letters, and possibly make the lettering some other color other than black.
For logos I tend to use Adobe Illustrator. From your pic it looks like you only have Photoshop.
