sup guys
so my uncle unexpectedly passed away recently...
he has a password protected word 2016 document on his computer that has passwords to all of his online stuff that we are trying to get access to
right now im running a brute force program to try and figure out the password
is there an easier method to try and remove the password?

>yfw you discover his online gay porn stash
drag and drop the file onto notepad, sort through the giberish and youll get most of the content that way

wait, scratch that, i just remembered docx files are actually a zip. so maybe try a zip password cracker (or try opening it on winrar, but most likely the password is the zip pass, im not sure and i dont have a msword at hand to try)

already tried that it worked on word 2013 prior but not word 2016
why do you want his passwords

if he left a will, he would have left it with a lawyer, not with microsoft word. and you'd know about it.
