US - AU power plugs that aren't shit or too expensive?
Ones I've tried either fall out of the socket, or my phone charger falls out of it. Voltage/frequency isn't a problem.
Alternatively, would bending the pins on my charger be ok (assuming I don't fuck it up)? I've seen people saying its fine but I want to be sure.

Meh, the USB-C one is a 29W PSU; it can handle the power demands just fine.
It's not really it's fault your phone needs a proprietary charger containing hardware that should be in the phone itself.
