Try Chobits and Fruits Basket. I personally dont like these two.

for my recommendations, Id say tamako market is pretty romancy. Kobato is also one that is romance.

Ao Haru Ride (pretty generic but still rly good)
Itazura na Kiss (story is meh but the romance is nice and quite funny)
Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji (classic pretend couple becomes a real couple)
Akagami no Shirayuki-hime (the purest of romances desu, my personal fav)
Chihayafuru (more on the background but still a great watch, also a fav of mine)
Horimiya (3-ep show which is already cute, but i'd recommend the manga even more)
Orange (romantic but mostly sad, manga is better tho)
Special A (tsundere antics)
Kaichou wa Maid-sama (tsundere but still good)
Sukitte Ii na yo (just cute romance, bit problematic tho)
Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou (quite old Gainax production, still one of the best romances to date imo)

well, you have to squint to really see it, but it's definately there and it is really cute. you get quite invested in the show!

Also, Higashi no Eden is a josei with some romance as well. good show
and Shirayuki is just damn good man just watch it

those ones i listed are the ones that i liked a lot but I'm looking for something as genericic as that with the romantic intensity of clannad, or oneagai teacher, or kokoro connect, i hope this helps,

i wanted to find this manga that i read once but cant remember. It's about this guy who's about to kill himself but then she sees this girl who is also about to kill herself, so they talk and make a promise to kill themselves after a year (i think), and so they just go and do a lot of stuff. Can anyone help?
