I don't get where your confusion comes from. On the right her black slime is instead yellow in the middle image and it's color and veneer could be improved to better imply that it is molten gold. As is the case on that right.

Just compare the left and middle images. See how the stuff on the legs in left image looks better and deeper yellow than the middle image (and better edited for that matter)? ie more reminiscent of molten gold?
