Yep, that'll do just fine, given that none of those metals are coated they should just conduct away any static discharge.

I think its just one of those things you want to avoid if its your first pc build. If something goes wrong its hard to diagnose the problem since all the parts are brand new.
Lol, I remeber one time I went to a computer repair shop. I was freaking out at the guy touching my PCs parts without an anti static wrist band.
U need to have a 1 mega ohm resistor in series with your wire to avoid electric shock.
