My computer is having some very weird issues. Firefox and google chrome have been crashing all day, though only the tabs have been crashing on chrome unlike firefox which crashes entirely. Got a blue screen of death while watching netflix, this is when I really started to worry. Lastly, I tried playing random games to see what happened. Managed to run rocket league a few minutes before it blue screened. I have no idea what it could be but I was thinking of doing a fresh install to see if that helped. I feel like it might be my ram or gpu going bad but I doubt it. Anyone have any other ideas?

What sites are you browsing when your browsers crash? What kind of plugins do you use?

Do a ram test
Check your HDD
Watch your mem usage
Check your CPU/GPU temps

did a memory test and it said nothing was wrong. Temps are all really good. Did a consistency check on all drives and there were no issues. Gonna boot from a new drive with a fresh install tomorrow to see if it's a hardware or software issue.

Might be a virus?
Download rKill and malwarebytes - both free, trusted programs.
Run rKill. Closes any malicious processes.
Run, update, and full scan with malwarebytes. Might take a while depending on how much stuff you got on your comp.
If you wanna go a step deeper, download Hitman Pro. Runs through basically the same steps as malware bytes but also stops malicious shit opening on startup. (from what I understand).

Running the most comprehensive scan possible with malwarebytes didn't find anything. Weird thing is the computer is acting done now, might just be cause it's been off for 8 hours. I've had computer issues before but this has been the most confusing

Not done, fine*. Damn phone, can't post from pc since I'm still running scans.

Have it occured to you to use a phone camera to catch the blue screen and check the error code with google? Or upload a photo somwhere and let other folks do it for you? Might be tad faster than randomly guessing.
