Hey /wsr/
I've had my PC for about 5 years and didn't have much problems with it, but it does feel like it's getting a little worn out, and lately I've been getting interested in more modern videogames and such, so I thought of getting a new PC.
Where should I look to learn about this kind of thing? Should I buy PC parts online and build it myself or is there an easier way? Thanks in advance

Watch 3 or so 1 hour videos on how to build a PC.
Build a PC on pcpartpicker
Go to the forums and ask the people there "does does this build look good and will this build run so and so."
Order parts from msy if you live in Australia. Dont pick up your products in store

if you want it cheaper you should definitely buy the parts. If you want to play games, you should build around a good graphics card (gtx 1060+)
https://pcpartpicker.com/
this site should link to stores near you, check good builds + http://www.logicalincrements.com/
then you need a good monitor to go with it too

do you have good up to date videos on building pc's from scratch for a noob?

One option is to wipe the computer and install a lightweight OS like Lubuntu. It puts less load on working the Operating System, and gives more memory and power to the games you're playing.
