Hello everyone, I'm currently trying to make a fantasy map, and you'll notice two things. firstly the outline of the island is crap, and second there are little to no kingdoms, this is where I request help. A. Can some one Help smooth/make the outline a little more clean, and B, suggestions for where Kingdoms should go!

Are the red lines geopolitical boundaries?
They look pretty arbitrary, many RL borders follow natural landmarks, such as rivers and mountain ranges.
For example, that tiny triangular spot created by 3 rivers crossing would be a very good place to found a city on, but apparently it's bisected by a border.

Honestly, you're better off asking /tg/ for advice.

Honestly, all I did was spend 5 minutes looking at video game maps, and didn't notice a pattern so I went on Photoshop and began creating random lines.
