OP here, I found one that seems to be OK (at least for the first episode).
It's got subtitles, it's in Japanese, and is 1080p.

Fixed the subtitles not showing up by changing MPC-HC's subtitle renderer to the internal one, as opposed to VSFilter/DirectVobSub.
This is also the torrent you should use, fairly popular.
