What are your favorite "epic" anime?

I know the word epic is looked down upon, but let's set that aside for this thread. In a hypothetical world where you aren't against using the word, what anime have you watched where you would say "Okay, that was epic."

Epic as determined by what? Build up? I would throw out FMA and FMAB, K, and Madoka

If by set pieces I would name NGNL, SoRaNoWoTo, and Psycho Pass

By epic tales? DanMachi, Noragami, Katanagatari

By what I determine to be awesome by my own standards? In addition to some of the above, KonoSuba, GuP, and Gintama
