Most likely it's a glitch with that application but I doubt you want to uninstall it completely to test it out.

Without uninstalling that application though we're just going to have to go through every other method of testing out what the problem may be by process of elimination which might end up a waste of time. Not sure if you're into that. Shit will take a while especially if we're going to guide you through it.

yeah its EA's steam pretty much. I've only got bf4 installed on it so i aint bothered by uninstalling it. It's not even running but im still at 98% so could that still be the issue?

I read up a bit and some people say to disable "superfetch" in services.msc. I'd give it a shot.

I would disable all hibernation, superfetch and prefetch since that's what I do on my SSD.

Well, a myth is that it speeds up loading times or something?. That page explains it. I think reality is it doesn't make much difference.

I just suggest it in case it's causing the weird bug maxing out your memory.

uninstalled origin, turned my PC off using shutdown /s /f /t 0 and its seems fine now. gonna install it and see if it does it again.
