Hey /wsr/,
I just bought a Macintosh SE running 6.0.8, and it works great, but I'm thinking about getting some games for it because all it has are a few basic office applications. There's a guy who makes custom floppies with packs of old Mac games on it specifically for people who own classic Macs. Which game disk do you would be worth buying the most, i.e, which games are the most fun?
Here's the list:
Bundle 1 (800K) - Scarab of Ra, Crystal Quest, Tetris, Missile Command, Amazing!, Lode Runner
Bundle 2 (800K) - Arkanoid, MacYahtzee, Mah-Jongg, IAGO, Stratego, Star 'Roids, 3D Tic-Tac-Toe
Bundle 3 (800K) - Let's Get Tanked, Gunshy, Checkers, Klondike 2.1, Memory 2.0, Breakout, Hang Man 10.0, Mac Pong II, Hearts, Banzai, Hot Air Balloon, Missile Command
Bundle 4 (400K) - Checkers, Mac Pong II, Memory 2.0, Hang Man 10.0, IAGO, Gunshy, Klondike 2.1, Missile Command, Banzai, Hot Air Balloon, Breakout
Thank you!

out of that bunch, i'd say lode runner is the most fun.
> has mac classic
> pulled out insides
> replaced it with a tiny netbook running win7
> the look on macfag's faces is classic also

Thanks for the response!
Final bump
Are there that few classic Mac enthusiasts on here? Would I have better luck on /vr/, or /g/?

I think you don't appreciate how unpopular the mac was and is, even now. iPhone sells more every year than mac has sold ever*. Just because iPhone and iPad are popular doesn't mean the mac is too.
While Microsoft being evul makes a good narrative, the reality is that Windows 3.1 was better and cheaper than macOS, Windows 95 vs System 8/System 9 was pathetically one-sided, and OSX was too little, too late.
There's no nostalgia for old macs, because no-one ever used them in the first place.
But to answer your question, Crystal Quest is quite fun. But there's an HD remake on Xbox etc.
*Hell, I bet Apple sells more pencils each year than it does macs.
Bundle 1 is the best of the options above. Scarab of Ra and Crystal Quest are two of the best Mac-originating games from that era. Arkanoid is also a high quality port: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-1UgBPQdRY
Most of the rest is undistinguished shareware/freeware junk.

There are occasional classic Mac threads on /vr/ that go a couple hundred posts.

also missile command despite being generic is pretty great too
