I'm looking for some non fiction books that will make me indifferent to death. Of course, it's in human consciousness to be afraid to an extent, but I want to numb it as much as possible. Preferably no religious stuff.

Impossible your trying to run away from the concept it by immersing yourself in somebody else's ideals. That works for a lot of things, but not death since it's so universal. I mean I personally feared death as child, and then I became a year older and got over it. Wanna know how? I stopped caring about it, you put stock into shit and the irrational mind refuses all attempts to subvert it. Do shit with your life that you feel happy about; cause in my anecdotal experience most people who fear death are either not satisfied with their life or really young. Or you can become a faggot and skim through Nietzsche, Camus, Kierkegaard, and all the other existentialists. Because another anecdotal piece of advice it's really hard for non-lit fags to actually sit down and reap the positive message from a seemingly hateful piece of philosophy.
