Could somebody please draw me an 8-bit megaman style boss guy? Around 31x24 pixels. "Pinball Man". He should be a walking four- legged pinball machine. As for face location, arms that come out the sides, etc, it's all up to you.
I'm interested in (doing) this.
Give me a few minutes.

I said a few, but this is taking a while.
Trying to make sure he "fits", instead of just mspainting a half ass job that's awkward-looking.

Thanks =D
Progress.
Design NOT finalized yet.
Nor the colors.

Looks really good so far. I like the legs especially. The head on the left is cool too.
One thing I could say is that I would prefer mixed colored pixels (in a semi nice looking way) instead of solid colors for the playfield and cabinet. I can understand if the res is way too low to do that kind of design though.

>mixed colored pixels
And this could just mean a border, or pattern, or just anything that you think looks cool idk

Yeah, I'm trying not to go too far outside of the 4 color limitations. I might push it to 5 if I have to, but I hope I don't, since even megaman is composed of the head and the body, letting him cheat a bit.
The legs were the first thing to go, sadly, since the design just seemed too awkward and un-official as a result. I want it to seem legit, but I do want to mix it up a little as well.
It's been pretty damn hard, surprisingly.
I've been thinking of doing a design, but I'm not sure what within the limitations of both colors and pixels.
Well, I'm "done" or rather, as "done" as I can be.
Goddamn this ended up brain-wracking.
The legs were something I wrestled with a lot. I wanted to have pinball legs, but then I had an issue of how he'd jump. These were the first things I had trouble with, and what led me to closer study the other bosses/RMs. Having him use humanoid legs is awkward, but honestly, it looks better than what I tried before and I wouldn't put it past a mad scientist to do.
I wanted to change the colors some, but then I went over my limit. I guess in the end he has something of Red White Blue theme.
Tried to make the glass panel look good with a light reflection or sheen of sort. Ended up making the "design" be a "W" theme (because of Wily, get it, a hurr). This also ended up being theme of the side and frontal views of the table itself. This, along with the plunger, were things I wanted in from the start for sure.
Some of the colors ended up way too close to each other than I liked, which makes them feel like they're bleeding too hard into other parts which are meant to show something else (such as shadow or lighting).
Hoped to make the head/face part of the the coin slot or the score panel. Ended up settling on the latter. The plunger and flippers were something I really wanted to keep in to play on the pinball theme (wasn't sure how I'd do the flippers (head accessory, arms, or hands?), so I was willing to abandon them if need be). I tried to make the plunger a sort of cyclops eye, but it just didn't work out due to the black pixels bleeding over to the other eye.
If I may, I had an idea for a weapon as well.
Prize Pinball.
Basically a pinball that can be shot forward or aimed 45 degrees up or down (like a ghetto metal blade), and bounces off of enemies, walls, obstacles, and so forth upon contact. It can hit up to 4 things. Upon hitting the fourth thing, it pops and drops a random item. The item dropped depends on how many enemies it hits (doesn't have to kill).
Not sure what his weakness would be. Maybe some sort of filth-based weapon which jams his controls, hue.
Well, sorry to disappoint, OP.
You going to use this for anything?

Mega awesome job! I really like it. The "W", the plunger, overall awesome job, seems like it could've come straight out of a megaman game.
I will use it for something, but it's not a game. Sorry.
Thank you so much!! you're the best
