how do i make 4chanX filters work /xxx/;i filters any word with

to clarify i want to filter single words only or phrases

You mean thread titles/subjects? Could you just be filtering solely by post comment?

Try /\Wxxx\W/i

/\bxxx\b/i
\b is the start or end of a word
\W is any non-word character so, for example, it wouldn't match xxx at the start of the post.

no i have it set both to comment and subject, but anything in bold text still appears even though it mathes my filter exactly
