After many years of not watching anime, I saw this and it restored my love of the medium. I asked /a/ for recommendations on "anime about time travel" and they told me "Madoka, and go to /wsr/"
So I watched Madoka (enjoyed it) and came here. Got anything else for me that's high quality anime about time travel?
I'm a complete outsider to anime so aside from the two I named and Disappearance of Haruhi, if you name a (time travel) show it's almost certain I have not seen it.

Ask on /a/, they'll hate you but it's more likely to get a real reply there than here, this board is dead

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
>>185503
Thanks, I'll put it at the top of my list.
>>185502
Well I figure it can't hurt. Already got one recommendation. I mean worst case I either get nothing, or someone recommends something pretty awful.
I admit I was a little doubtful that Madoka had anything to do with time travel until near the end, but I stuck with it and it was great

I'm cool with animated films, although the only ones I've ever seen before are Miyazakis
>>185507
Well I'm pretty sure off topic threads are only 3 day bans (from that board only, not all boards). So in a case like that, it would probably actually not be so bad to wait out the ban timer even if you couldn't ban evade, especially if you're not the kind of person who spends much time on /a/.

Nah it's all boards so don't risk it.
Re:Zero
Boku dake ga Inai Machi

Hold on now, I am pretty sure OP was asking for GOOD anime
>>185516
Not here Anon, save it for one of the many /a/ threads.
Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni
Mirai Nikki
Charlotte
Punchline but it isn't very good.

To be fair if you like shit like Steins;Gate there's a good chance you'll like Re:zero.

Gonna shill this for that guy on /a/.
Boku Dake ga Inai Machi is a pretty decent anime that recently got made.
For a similar concept (special relativity causing huge gaps in time for people) I highly recommend you watch Gunbuster. It's a classic super robot show from the 80s, but most of the drama actually comes from the fact that every time the hero goes out into space to fight monsters she gets further and further (temporally) from everyone she loves due to special relativity causing time on Earth to move much more quickly than time in space. So she comes back to find all her friends in school are grown up and have kids while she's still a teenager. And it only gets sadder.

- Re:Zero, though you'd appreciate it more if you first watched some shitty isekai cancer it tries to dispute with (SAO, GATE)
- Zetsuen no Tempest, time travel doesn't come into play until later on (not as late as in Madoka, but still you'll have to wait 8 episodes), but it's pretty good
- ERASED, it's a trainwreck, but an enjoyable one
Also, pic related should help. It's made for imgur/9gag purposes, but it should work for you.

Noien maybe? It's a bit artsy but pretty enjoyable. Natsu no Arashi! is made by SHAFT who made Madoka, it's two seasons.

Only delusional kayofags disagree

Try the Tatami Galaxy
That's another anime about time travel

It fell apart after episode three, quit blaming memes for people not liking your show.

Charlotte is a very good show about time travel, and powers in general. Will make you cry though. The time travel part doesn't start until later, like madoka.
