Mawaru Penguindrum is a psychological mindfuck drama about children being sent to a child grinder, ghosts trying to mass murder thousands of people, two brothers trying to save a sick girl who's dying, and another girl with the magical ability to alter fate.

The girls in the image are part of a subway ad one of the children sees on their way to school. It is literally an ad in the story, by people barely related to the story at all, seen in the show for 3 seconds of screen time.
