anyone know any good mindless action movies?
not the well-known stuff like Die Hard, I'm in the mood for some random straight-to-DVD generic action movies

John Carter is a good but bad film.
I mean are you looking for a film that not lots of people have seen?
The postman is a good one that not a bunch of people have seen.
The 90s were great for that crap. Here's something random I liked.

Could probably go for The Raid: Redemption and its sequel, which is much heavier on its story but still has some amazing fight choreography and camera work.
I have a small but growing collection of movies I get for really cheap prices at library sales/used stores/etcetera. Two action movies in my collection that sound like what you're looking for are Good Guys Wear Black and Troubleman. Good Guys Wear Black is a Chuck Norris movie with a lot of military shit, hopping between locations, and cheesy physical action. Troubleman is this black vigilante movie that has a kind of detective-y vibe to it.
I can't tell you about the plots that much even though I've watched both of them; that should tell you something. But for mindless and/or cheesy action they fit the bill.
Might as well post trailers.
