There once was a sport anime, like kuroko no boyrove, in which the enemy team used a different running style. They would keep their arms mostly stationary but move their shoulders in phase with their legs, supposedly to save energy over time. It may or may not have been partially explained as a ninja/samurai running style from ancient times.
I been trying to google this shit for hours to figure out if that was just full of shit fiction, no luck. Anyone remember the episode or can link me to history channel explaining how this running came from alien teachings?
