Never used this board before, no clue if this even applies but I'm at my wits end trying to figure out what the fuck right now.
pic related.
GPU usage randomly spikes way the fuck up to 100% out of the blue, even in fairly mundane things (this is me playing a rockband ripoff that normally barely affects anything) temps aren't spiking, I can play witcher 3 flawlessly except randomly I'll get a little stutter when the card decides to bump up to 100%.
With some games (like the rockband game I'm playing in this screenshot) i'll actually get a display driver error.
Drivers are up to date. Machine runs cold, I'm not overclocking, I have a platinum cert PSU and I'm not drawing much power.
I'm honestly fucking baffled. Any thoughts?
Check for miners wiruses, they may be using your GPU.

Seems all clean to me.
You might have to try installing an older driver
I recommend 368.39, I had problems with one of the .8 as well.

Rolled back to that driver, still got the issue but it didn't say "display driver stopped responding" this time.
just to be sure I ran my machine through the ringer, malwarebytes, roguekiller, adwcleaner, combofix. None of them found anything so I'm super confused.
