I get this error often. How do I fix it?
The internet works, its just the webpages don't load. Downtime ranges from few seconds to minutes. If I'm torrenting something, it's downloading, and when my sister plays her online games, she's still on.
Try changing your DNS settings to 8.8.8.8

you got a dns redirector malware on your browser. do a scan.

I don't think its that. I think it has to do with my router. I never get this using any other wifi besides mine. This also happens on my phone and other devices.

Try resetting your router or installing tomato and securing it a bit.
also change your dns to 8.8.8.8

I don't recommend Google's public DNS.

Whats wrong with it?
How do you connect to the Internet on this device? Wireless or Wired? Could be your wireless chip set dropping off or a signal issue, or a shitty router.
Also could be malware/"network security software" hijacking your dns or proxy settings or anything like that locally on your computer. Do you use anything like Norton Internet Security or McAfee Network whatever the fuck its called?

Wireless. I think it's a shitty router.
I don't use Norton or McAfee.

Oh for the love of christ.
Almost every router ever provides a recursive DNS server.
>Every device behind the router has DNS issues
What the fuck else could it be, but the router's DNS server?

Manually setting DNS settings on a device overrides DNS provided by the router, you genius, as does proxy settings, especially when they are altered by malware so they can provide malicious advertising and hijacking of your browser.
Also, who said the other devices on the router has issues. OP said the sister has no issues.
