Definetly Dorohedoro and Blame!/Noise.If you can stand the CG you could give Knights of Sidonia a try.

shin angyo onshi manga/manhwa is basically korean berserk, with arguably better art. Definitely give this a try since it ended as well.

theres gantz but the art is really fucking weird. It has really cool designs but it still looks fucking weird.

i recently watched garo 1 and it was fairly dark, its not extreme grim dark but lots of important characters get brutally murdered

Texhnolyze isn't just grimdark, its genuinely Pessimistically Nihilistic and it pulls it off very well. If your going to watch it OP make sure your emotionally prepared to take the hardcore abuse its going to dish out at you.
