Any educated folk that know Latin that can help me with a basic translation?

How would I phrase the term "deus ex machina" except if I were to replace the "god" part with the word for "daughter"? Is "filia" the correct word?

Deus is Latin for god, so it'd just be Filia ex Machina probably. I don't know anything about Latin grammar or how the declensions and cases work but I doubt many other people do either.

You can substitute "deus" = "god" for any other nomen you want. "Ex" is a fixed preposition, so you don't have to care about congruency.
You could use either "filia" or "nata" for daughter. Filia is more widely known, but nata sounds better imho.
