Sankaku is slow as shit (probably just for me. I seem to be the only one who regularly has a problem with 4chan as well).
Danbooru has blocked images and, though it's been a while, so I might be wrong, has much less filtering ability.

It might be your computer just can't handle the auto paging they have turned on by default, but you can turn that off and see if it improves your load times.

Yeah, I had the same problem. I switched to Ublock Origin.
