My laptop has a stange issue where it would suddenly turn off. No shut down screen, no bluescreen, just off. Its as if the power got cut off or something. It boots up just fine afterward, but its done it twice now. Each time it happened it was on battery power. The first time was during a skype call with a game running in the background, and the second time was while I was playing a game. Both of these also happened after installing a 2.5 inch HDD. It hasn't happened when I ran it without the HDD, but I also reinstalled my nvidia graphics driver. Its yet to happen again with the HDD put back in as well. Was it just a graphics driver issue? I've never heard of one that shuts off an entire pc before.

could be battery or psu related, maybe it's overheating
