Im searching for anime similar in style and tone to Samurai Champloo. Ive seen cowboy bebop. It was good, but not as good as Champloo. What should i watch

the closest ones i could think of are rurouni kenshin (if you don't want to watch the whole series just watch the trust & betrayal 4 ovas) trigun (avoid the movie), afro samurai and soul eater.

Probably more similar to Cowboy Bebop than to Champloo, but try out Outlaw Star if you haven't seen it.
