hi /wsr/ i need your help real bad.
Today i bought a mobo(gigabyte z170-hd3) and an intel i5 6600 as a upgrade to my pc. i replaced everything in it, plugged everything back in place.
>look at pic
but when i turn it on, it turns itself off after 5 seconds.
what i tried:
-pulling everything out/cutting power to everything excpet cpu/mobo.
-removing ram sticks.
my psu also worked just fine before this replacement.
Any ideas to fix this issue?

Your pic has no RAM in it.
Computers need RAM to do anything.

You've plugges your CPU fan into a case fan socket.
The POST thinks there's no CPU fan, and is switching off to stop your CPU socket melting.
any other suggestions ? ;-;

Sure.
But unless there's a fan connected to CPU_FAN, regardless of any and all other problems, your mobo will. not. boot.
>b-but it spins anyway
You don't just need a fan to be there, you need the motherboard to know there's a fan there.

i switched it back on and still didnt work.
since its a problem possibly with the mobo/cpu, i took some pics of those too. idk you might see something out of place, i couldnt.

mobo
Take it out of the case and turn it on. If it works then the case is shorting the mobo

this seemed like a good idea, i tried it but it still stops :c
it seems like either the cpu or the mobo is faulty. i will try to get them replaced with warranty. but thanks to all of you for trying to help me, i really appreciate it
