Forum drama is also pretty funny, plus, being a mod can be a good way to spend time.

Not answering your question, but I've always wanted to experience older (early 2000s) shows as they happened by reading forums
The closest I got was reading this one, my media forum, but you could only see the threads in bump order and the search function was wonky, so after about 15 episodes it was really hard to follow and I just started watching the show without it. Some of the threads for certain episodes were seemingly deleted too, which pissed me off.
Do you know of any websites where I could easily do something like this? I almost don't care what show, as long as there are recognizable forum personalities and an easy way to browse over a multitude of years I'm up for it.

I think you're wasting your time, just join them as you go. As of late, forums have been pretty vulnerable to hacking. Some moderators are shit, I usually have no sympathy for em.
