Requesting Alice in Wonderland type fiction.
Shows/Movies about characters who find themselves in strange and bazaar locations(wonderland) or surrounded by strange and unusual events(not explained by ghosts/horror).
I'm not actually sure if there is a term or trope for this or not.
I do not mean shows that have a episode parodying the actual book Alice in Wonderland.
I'm looking for stuff that captures the spirit of it.
Examples:
fear and loathing in las vegas
FLCL
Ed Edd and Eddy

Thanks anon, il give some of these a look.
Any movie by Jan Svankmajer, my favorite director
get into the theatre of the absurd, it was about making plays out of weird thing, they never get too bizarre but they're always shocking to the logical part of you brain
Ionesco is good but heavy, Start with Beckett but his stuff may turn you off completly
for comics look up the Doom Patrol, specially Grant Morrison's run, they're superheros that take care of stuff that is too weird for other heros while being weird themselves.
Later on you will learn to apreciate classic [as] shows because they're bizarre in a subtle way
look up absurdist fiction or surrealist fiction for more.
