Any good action anime where the characters (at least the heroes) don't solve every problem with murder? Not feeling like something especially dark. And I've already seen FMAB.

2011. 1999 has a bunch of unnecessary filler and manages to cut out a bunch of stuff on top of covering less, but 2011 is a faithful adaptation of the entire series.
