>>916903
Aren't guns supposed to be extremely super loud?
Like permanently deaf tier loud?
Yes I really did expect my headphones to explode just now.
>>917640
Not that loud. It's not comfortable to shoot a gun indoors without ear protection, and doing it often will lead to significant long-term hearing damage, but it's not like one shot and you're deaf. Besides, if you're shooting indoors without ear protection, it's usually because you have something more important than hearing loss to deal with.
>>917969
You need to warn people about those kinds of feels.
>>917640
depends on the gun

Honestly, they're only worth it if you can guarantee ahead of time that they'll be just mildly autistic. In other words, you've got to adopt them when they're around six years old or so, so they're just developed enough that you can start to judge their personality.
Normalfag girls will always turn out sluts, but if they're TOO autistic, then they'll just end up fat sweaty permavirgin slobs. You want to hit that golden middle zone, where they're just autistic enough to get a college degree in a STEM field, but not autistic enough to turn into a crazy old lady muttering to herself on the bus.

is the sound quality of this webm poor enough that it bothers anyone enough to skip listening to it completely? when I download music I'd never get anything at 64kb/s bitrate but I've never been irked by webms with low quality sound so I'm just curious about other anons opinions.

>>926292
Still looks more realistic than the fighting in any other boxing movie. I thought it looked like the other guy absolutely walloped MBJ a few times (and didn't seem to look too phased when he got hit himself), but he's an actual pro boxer and MBJ is just an actor. Also that whole match with the webm was filmed in one four-minute long take, which kind of makes the fight choreography a lot harder.
The final fight was filmed with regular camera cuts like a normal Rocky fight so all the hits looked more real and more polished, and MBJ got hit so hard in one scene that he was really knocked unconscious on the canvas. You can see it in the b-roll.
>>927509

those image proportions tho
>>916801
Music isn't even from the move though. The movie uses some really shitty techno with even shittier sound quality for some reason.

>>932825
I dunno, I thought all that quasi mystical mumbo jumbo in the second Riddick movie was some horse shit that really didn't fit into the universe implied by Pitch Black. Turning him into yet another last surviving member of an alien race and whatnot.
>>933979
was pitch black the last chronologically?
>>933768
Your logic would require everyone to watch every film that ever comes out within the first month to avoid spoilers
>>919960
What is that thing godzilla is fighting?
Mothra?
>>934410
your mum
REKT
>>934377
That's not true. Look, if you go into a thread labeled "Movies and TV webms with audio" you are taking a risk to get spoiled. Even then it's easily avoidable by looking at filenames and just being on your guard in general.
You are the type of person that wants fun banned, because it triggers some people. Just like how overprotective parents want violent movies banned fucking everywhere.
>>934410
It's an original Kaiju for this movie called a MUTO (Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organism). At one point, Godzilla fights 2 of these things.

>>934937
>>934937
maybe lower the audio quality to fit more video quality into the file size.
>>933208
Welp, now I have zero reason to watch this movie anymore. It looked kinda shitty anyway, based on that dancing webm I saw from it. Thanks for making the filename so that there was literally zero chance I could escape the spoilers, BTW

holy fuck just watched it you fucking uptight bitch. It doesn't ruin the movie.
>>935096
I didn't post it for the humor.
>>934026
Nah, the first. And it was all gritty and low tech scifi. And then Chronicles gave us those space magic planet busting BDSM motherfuckers and turned Riddick from a guy who got an eye operation in prison into basically superman. It's just kind of jarring.
>>935794
Not gonna lie here, the end of that webm gave me an erection.
>>934691
It's called "Lamb"
>>934572
Fuck man I wish I could watch this movie in IMAX again. I know many people didn't like it but this was honestly the best movie experience I've ever had.
>>936273
You want to experience a movie in IMAX? SuperSpeedway was the shit. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING is ever going to match and IMAX experience of SuperSpeedway. Best of all, it isn't CGI the whole way through. We're talking Indy Car Racing with an 80lb camera attached going 200mph baby.
>>934572

>sacrificing the Pegasus for a literal museum
I know the shows name is Galactica, but they should have just bailed on the old ship with raptors, fly to Pegasus, and then rename it Galactica. Made no sense to sacrifice the most powerful ship ever made.
>>943027
I've got a 70" and honestly they look fine still.
It has a lot to do with what scaling algorithms the player and the TV itself uses.
>>915847
Did he die?
>>942882
Trainspotting just compresses down really small in size for some reason. The predicted filesize was like 5.5MB but it came out to 4MB. I guess it's because of the kinda dreary color palette? It compresses as good as black and white somehow.
For another example see the 3-and-1/2 minute webm in >>948746
>>937452
yes
he's come a long way from that pee fight
>>915698
Man, I loved this movie. Both this and the sequel were pretty good.
>>928053
I fully admit that this film is not the most fantastic thing ever made, and it's actually kinda dumb and lame in a lot of ways, but I always found it entertaining enough.
I'm not sure why it gets as much hate as it does from more snobby cinema people. There are worse films.
>>933208
Nevermind the robot crap, do blades really go in and out of people like that? That's pretty fucking unsettling.
>>930187
in space people can hear your muffled scream
>>926292
That's because it's two actors shadow boxing and then CG'd together to form a fight.
Dobra robota!
>>959994
Pointy knives have a tendency to go through flesh like butter, as long as there's no bones in the way.
I really cringed during that scene.
Anyone got any pointers for getting long (49 or so seconds) webms under the 3MB limit? Starting source is a 720p rip.
>>964003
Well, to begin with. Reduce the size, maybe even by as much as a quarter. Make sure you're using VBR. Change the CRF to suit your tastes. Maybe something like 24? It depends on how much you've got going on too.
>>939543
I love Red Dwarf.
I love the gif title for it.

>>933768

>>970932
no, but if a movie has any kind of age to it whatsoever you shouldnt expect the world to fucking coddle you
it's like someone saying that Boromir dies and you scream 'SPOILERS' like a retard
not to mention this is a TV AND MOVIES thread, don't even come here if you don't want spoilers you retarded faggot
>>942069
Naw, the Blu Rays look absolutely amazing. The color is only an issue if you compare it. I'd rather it have been done better, but as it is, it's still the best way to watch those films.
Better sound, too, which is probably more important what with that score and all.

Just watched the movie, Flight.
Coming from someone who is trying to recover from alcohol addiction, and having lost everything because of it, this movie gave me all the feels in the world.
