Must be a problem with the integrated player. I used to never have this problem, but starting a few weeks ago, I now have to open webm's in a new tab about half the time to get them to load promptly and play correctly. I'm on Chrome.

Ditto... about a month ago, I started having webms take forever to load, not load at all, or freeze at some point, but only on 4chan. I use Chrome as well. Haven't found a solution.

As a countermeasure, just use an Addon like DownThemAll to download entire threads at once.

Then you can watch them with no buffering

yeah since hiroshima nagasaki took over this place it feels like the site got much slower, i sometimes get like 150kB/s max for webms or pictures.
