Hello,

Am I the only one who's still around since around April when a girl here said she was diagnosed with cancer and had only gotten around 5 months (if I remember correctly) to live?
Either way, I'd like to create this thread to commemorate that girl. She liked the comfy webms, so please post any comfy gifs or webmsin your possession.

This thread isn't about comfy webms/gifs. I don't care if there is another thread about that. This is simply a commemoration.

I'm not going to try to disprove you, I know that when death is the subject and it happens to someone at a young age, it sends me thinking about it for quite some time. So sad that you would bring up a thing like that.

For those who are too lazy; the following was her message:

"Thank you WSG

I really needed this thread.

Today I went to the doctor to see my results on some test I took a while back. I've been loosing my vision a bit, and having extremely strong migraines.

We looked at the test results and I have terminal brain cancer and gave me roughly 4 months to live. I've been trying to keep it cool but I'm scared as fuck. I told my boyfriend and he's taken it hard.

He's asleep now but I'm wide awake in fear of my impending oblivion. I'm so scared. So I came on 4chan to mindlessly scroll and lurk on WSG for cute cat gifs to forget about the pain and my internal ticking clock.

Finding this thread and listening to all the relaxing music has made me feel so much better. The melancholy tunes are helping me accept the sentence I've been given.

Death is something we all deal with eventually. I'm dealing with it a little early. But these songs are giving me enlightenment and comfortability with death.

I've started to believe that there is something beyond death. Maybe it's just a fools desperation but I really do feel like there is something beyond our linear lives.

Thank you WSG anons for soothing my soul and giving me peace.

I hope that wherever I go after death, I can care these songs in my soul with me.

Leave to your fullest guys.

-anon"

Thats pretty sad, too bad shes most likely dead by now. If not i guess ill post some chill.

Godspeed cancer waifu anon. There is a bigger chance that we are living in a computer simulation than an actually real universe.

It is sad, and yes she is most likely dead. I think what I find mostly sad about it is that her vision was going and she actually felt the symptoms. In death, there's no suffering after all.

It's amazing to me how there's this thing that will happen to all of us, and have happened to everyone who has existed, yet we know pretty much nothing about it. I once said to a classmate way back that I imagine that to experience death is to experience that part which occurs after you fall asleep and before you wake up. Time has passed, you feel rested but we experience the time loss as nothing, there's no "data" recorded. It seems reasonable to me. If she is dead, then it is sad. To be honest, I don't feel much anymore. Grief is something I "know" of at this point, I don't feel it. I feel as if I'm part of everything that doesn't have consciousness. No judgement, no thoughts, no feelings, no right or wrong. Dead is dead, nothing else. Subjectivity doesn't interact with the physical "realm" that we live in. It has no place in it. It has come and it will some day go, and it will have had no effect on the universe.

Very nice tunes.

Message to all: This is the OP, I want to say that I appreciate that so many are gathering to this thread. I'm sure if anon was here to see this, she would be flattered and happy to be remembered.

I understand how it might seem weird that I've taken it upon myself for this, but ever since I saw her post I have had her on my mind up to now. And please, save your thoughts on how "this is all about anon being a girl".

It really isn't. I'm a guy with co-morbid depression. I also suffer from social anxiety. I can't get a job, and I think too much. The combination has left me at home with my own thoughts. And because I tend to wander to profound thoughts, death comes up. Quite regularly. The topic seems to make its comfortable nest in my mind.

I don't always think about it in an exaggerated and fake "sad" way. I just think about how this girl was this young person like myself and she had this time limit in life that I had the luxury to not have to go through. I have felt undeserving of the, in comparison, long life that I get to live. Both of my knees got injured during my jogging, which is the only way I can even come close to relieving myself of this dragging depression and anxiety, so that has made me unable to do anything else these past months.

I don't want to go on longer than I already have, I didn't want to even go on this long, and I'm not sure if I have even expressed my original thought at all. I didn't want to make this about myself either, though this lengthy post probably come off as something that expresses the opposite.

I guess, to sum it up, I thought it would be a good display of humanity to show attention to the life of a girl who died too soon, and it's sweet of so many to participate in doing so.

If you feel healthy enough, you can do anything you set your mind to. I've been living with a chronic illness - finally killed it - but please listen to me when I tell you that no matter how bad things are, you can make them better. You can turn your life around. Praise your lack of handicaps and understand your greatest resource is your mind - plot your course and do anything you like. I cannot... but you can.

Op has just decided to orbit a girl he'll never get to know, because its an ideal that comforts him. It comes from a mixed pool of feelings of loneliness, mortality, longing, etc.

If you've been to this place long enough, you've heard about the tales of anons anouncing their home boards that they're dying, perhaps you even witnessed some yourself.

Even then they're lost to void of anonymous.

But then there's this particular cunt, that because of said cunt, found herself an orbirter and worshiper.

So no, you wouldn't act the same if it was a man. I'm not even mad, just got intolerance for bulllshit and hipocrisy.

Admit it.

OP here,

I'm not that kind of person, though. To me this just feels like opinions based on prejudiced thoughts. I don't want to be hostile, that's simply how I view it, maybe you could stop, think for a moment about what you're basing your thoughts on and be optimistic about it. You know, think how this person that you don't know at all might have actually put gender aside while creating a post such as this.

>>1316744
You're right. I'd like to say I try, but I don't do it as much as I probably could. I could just stick with upper body exercises, that would make me feel better, but without my jogging, I'm less driven to do that. I'm going to my doctor soon to see what's wrong with my knees.

>>1317016
Yes, and I think the anon who this post is dedicated to said something true. "Death is something we all deal with eventually. I'm dealing with it a little early".
I think her thought expresses how relatively short our lives are. Of course, it's still sad when someone dies young because they don't get all the years they could have gotten.

If you see the original post I made, you'd see that posting comfy webms was part of keeping this thread alive to commemorate the girl. I probably didn't express that in the clearest way. I'm just happy that people are caring enough to post.

PS. You seem to have forgotten track number 4
>>
I should probably just put in a name already so people know I'm OP for whatever reason, if I come up with one.
