FFmpeg, or for Windows, try searching webm for bakas. There's a tutorial in the /wsg/ sticky, and the program tells you how to scale down to conserve size. 300 in height or width, -1 in the other.

Come on guys, music is art, art is subjective, we can hate or enjoy songs for many reasons, too generic, too complex or just too boring for our taste.

If someone criticizes your music just because of taste, unless you are in music indrustry, just ignore it, you can't do something everybody enjoy and still being YOU. Your songs are the way you found to portrait feelings, and if it works for you, f*** everything else. The only thing you should care is technical advises, anything else are just dumb people thinking that there are an utopic taste which belongs to few people.

You can put a finger in your ass and say: this is art(somehow). You will find people who share the same opinion, so this will be art for you and these people. But it would not be art for people who does not feel the same. This actually happened where I live, search for "performance do macaquinho" in Google images. This is objectively an art because people portrait feelings by doing it, but is not subjectively art for me, because I don't enjoy or feel pleasure when saw it.

All I wanted to say was that is not right to judge a person as incapable of doing art just because you don't like that specific kind of art, it even if he meet all technical aspects of an art.

I think the point is that the person criticizing and not contributing is coming at the criticism from the wrong perspective. Nobody actually making music is going to care if some random person is saying "I wouldn't buy that" or "that's only good enough for cheesy a commercial." Those statements are for the benefit of the critic. I think what people here will respect is skilled criticism.
