I recently played it, it was my first Arkham game (don't judge, it's an accessibility issue in terms of platforms) and I liked it a lot, despite the fact there were no boss battles and just a little too much batmobile stuff.

The first game is still my favorite. I prefer the smaller environments for stealth action vs. the large open ones.

Arkham Knight was never fully fixed for PC, so I never bothered picking it up. Glad I didn't waste my money on that unoptimized garbage.

The other 1/3 comes from the fact that DC's JLA are the archtypes of superheros. Representing ideals that frankly are hard to accurately portray to everyones satisfaction.

But when it comes down to brass tacks, for the medium of film, you couldn't have done much better than Batman v Superman to capture the essense and put it on the big screen while setting things up for an awesome franchise.
