Yep
>>1162165
cgi isnt bad, its the composition thats shit.
>>1162128
Hey look, the only good scene of the movie.
Except for the cape joke probably.
>>1162128
see how at 8 seconds it randomly exploded?
thats cos they cut out a whole scene where batman faces off with some guy with a grenade.
they cut alot from the movie, maybe thats why some of it doesnt make sense
>>1162904
Not to parrot what everybody else has been saying, but the ultimate cut really does fix a lot of that.
Not to say that the theatrical cut was the incomprehensible mess the critics made it out to be, but the full cut is better in almost every way.
>>1163325
Anon, that webm was from the trailer. The bit you're talking about WAS in the movie. Both cuts.

God, this is the most predictable bullshit in the universe.
>Superman beats up Batman
>Batman finds some sneaky way of hitting Superman with kryptonite
>Batman beats up Superman
You know, I remember thinking, "Surely this movie can't be as bad as it looks. Surely they would never give something like this the green light unless it had a really good script or something, and wasn't just a gigantic dungheap of clichés."
Was I really so wrong? Is the movie really this bad?
>>1163986
You're mind's already made up.
>>1162220
>the poor grill that dies while hes dragging her
;_;
>>1163986
It's based off "the dark knight returns" but its a shitty job.
>>1164074
Yeah, the two-part animated movie that DC did of the comic is way fucking better.
>>1162200
Fun fact: This is the 52 minute mark in the theatrical cut.
>>1163986
It's got bad parts, for sure, but overall it wasn't as bad as it's made out to be.
Fuck the haters.

>>1164959
That punch to faceplant has to be the most obvious part of that fight to make reference to the Arkham games.
>>1165642
Disagree, the double-punch towards the beginning is the most obvious. I almost see the little lighting bolts appear above his head before he punches those two goons.
>>1164958
Ridiculous strength. No man could do that IRL unless the crate was packed with foam or packing peanuts and nothing else.

Luckily, the bad guys don't have Hulk Hogan and his superhuman vision.
>>1165757
I'm not sure that's anymore of a wink and a nod than the faceplant. Maybe just as much of one.
That's practically how half my fights ended in the Arkham games was the guy's head crashing into the ground.
>>1162068
I don't have a WEBM for this, plus it's a fan-made trailer with some really poor-quality shots - but fuck all if it doesn't get me hard as fucking diamonds!

When he got a spaceship.
>>1166567
Did you guys play Knight? What did you think of it?
I recently played it, it was my first Arkham game (don't judge, it's an accessibility issue in terms of platforms) and I liked it a lot, despite the fact there were no boss battles and just a little too much batmobile stuff.
>>1166771
The first game is still my favorite. I prefer the smaller environments for stealth action vs. the large open ones.
Arkham Knight was never fully fixed for PC, so I never bothered picking it up. Glad I didn't waste my money on that unoptimized garbage.

You don't happen to have a link to the subtitle file, do you?
Personally, I thought that Batman v Superman was a great movie. I was totally happy with it.
2/3rds of the hate it recieved were from Marvel fanbois who couldn't stand the fact Superman could have flown into the Avengers movies, took Thor and Hulk by the ears, and clonk their heads together like a couple of coconuts...
>>1169081
Yeah...that's bullshit though
>>1165765
The sound and appearance you see in the clouds as superman flys down is just freaking awesome.
>>1165872
damn that's hot
>>1162251
this is rather silly
>>1169522
It was hype as fuck
RIP original Lois Lane
>>1165914
>"Healing coma"
>>1169365
It's not tho. Marvel folks have not come to grips with the fact that DC's JLA heros have been portrayed as beyond powerful by comparison.
Superman or Wonderwoman could just fly right into Civil War and shake the shit out of any of the heros there.
>>1169755
I'm a Marvelfag and even I know this is true.
>>1169755
Vision might be able to put up a decent fight.
>>1169788
Maybe in the comic books... but not in the movies.
>>1169755
2/3 of the hate it received wasn't due to power level bullshit and you must be actually retarded if you think that.
>>1169815
The other 1/3 comes from the fact that DC's JLA are the archtypes of superheros. Representing ideals that frankly are hard to accurately portray to everyones satisfaction.
But when it comes down to brass tacks, for the medium of film, you couldn't have done much better than Batman v Superman to capture the essense and put it on the big screen while setting things up for an awesome franchise.
>>1170480
Nice
>>1162128
>was hyped for this movie
>found out Affleck was in it
>fuck that
>movie fails
feelsgoodman.gif
>>1170742
I hate to disappoint you, but it didn't fail because of Affleck. He was easily the best character in the movie, and he and Irons played an excellent Batman/Alfred duo.
>>1170742
Best Batman ever on film.
>>1162106
>0:14s
lol
>>1170761
I know it didn't fail because of him, but it made him sad. So I'm fine with that.
>>1170861
We've barely heard Hamill speak in this, they need to show more of him.
>>1170742
His Batman is the best out of all of them.
>>1170430
This scene is incredibly retarded. He clearly knows he's in a standard action movie yet he doesn't know the guy always gets the girl.
All the "drama" in Deadpool is incredibly hamfisted and doesn't work at all.
>>1169081
Most of the hate came from the movie being a huge trailer and not being about its actual topic at all.
>>1171426
What does that even mean...?
>>1162076
That's really badly directed. It's like Cavill was told to do the classic "head down, eyes up" evil look but then the director realised that Cavill is fucking Superman and so he had to twist it into a shitty little cocky smirk instead.
>>1171529
Bam v Sam is a trailer for more DC cinematic universe movies.
>>1171424
There was "drama" in Deadpool? Are you retarded?
>>1162076
That'd still snap her fucking neck. The guy was still holding her.
>>1170861
>Mark fucking Hamill comes back to voice Joker in an R-rated film
My dick is diamonds. I can't wait.
>>1172320
Mark has been on fire lately with Arkham Knight, Flash, Star Wars and now this.
>>1162153
so fucking stupid
>>1171838
It definitely tried to attempt drama.
>>1162251
pointless fuking scene
>>1162386

>>1172988

>>1162251
Can't stop hearing him as niel goldman
>>1173138
See... It's trifling bullshit like this that this movie was judged on.
Where was this nit-picking in the Avengers, where the big bad guy Loki, doesn't do jack shit the entire movie except proclaim his godhood and get beat down by the Hulk.
>>1162076
This should have gone differently. God why'd they make Superman an edgelord? Should have had him take the step, the gun is shot, superman catches the bullet.
I wish they'd make some stuff from Vertigo. Like Constantine or Books of Magic or Sandman. But I guess they aren't mainstream enough to warrant multimillion budget.
>>1173154
>See... It's trifling bullshit like this that this movie was judged on.
In addition to issues regarding the plot, characters, writing, directing...
>>1173058
You could just follow the conversation chain and see what the movie is called.
Come the fuck on, man.
>>1162068
That reveal of Batman was hilarious. My theater legitimately started laughing.
>>1163537
Its shit movie no matter what though. I've only seen the extended cut and it was awful.
>>1172991
Oh, so you are retarded then.
Look, you said it yourself, he knows he's in a standard action movie. Which means he knows that he's supposed to feel apprehensive about the state of his appearance and about showing himself to her after abandoning her.
He also knows that for the finale to happen, and for it to have enough of a semblance of meaning to the general audience that ate this up and didn't really know dick about deadpools meta-narrative, this shit needed to happen.
>>1173310
Elaborate please. No? Thought so
>>1173307
They gave Constantine a film and a show.

PS: I could watch Harley/Margot walk away in those shorts all day.
>>1162080
Whoa, whoa, whoa there, friend.
If we're talking man of steel and beyond then it's zack snyder that snags all of the blame. Nolan is an exec producer, basically just a name they stick on the film for marketting.
With the sole exception of the dawn of the dead remake, Snyder has never made a good film.
>>1183072
>With the sole exception of the dawn of the dead remake, Snyder has never made a good film.
Watchman (Director's Cut).

That DBZ insert.
i know someone had to make webm of it but surprised anyone actually could stomach the batman v superman enough to do so
>>1163537
extended cut makes it go from -10 to -9. that's not something to consider fixed
>>1162153
why doesn't he just put it upright and fly with it?
>>1165872
I like the small glimpse of butt cheek.
>>1162127
>Even the skeleton model turns to watch him
>>1183072
Nah, I mean mainly because people think they need to follow his dark and gritty example. At least they aren't attempting realism like he did - sometimes, sometimes he just threw it out of the window.
>>1183157

Justice League: War. Based off the New 52 JL comics.
>>1190020
>next to nothing in terms of doing anything cool
yeah, this guy's not going to killed off or anything
>>1162251
It would be great if this turned into the Injustice Gods Among Us story line
>>1162127
Did anyone else find it incredible that in the two Superman movies Zack Snyder has now made, he managed to turn the one sequence of Superman actually being Superman and saving people into the most depressing, morose part of either film?
>>1162200
So was this a nightmare or some kind of future vision? Because the omega symbol is something Batman doesn't know yet, but is absolutely something that's real in the DC universe, and also it appears that The Flash shows up to deliver some kind of message within the dream sequence? Which would be fine if it wasn't a dream sequence because The Flash can time travel because speedforce, but if it was a dream sequence that makes it actually more dumb because the Flash can't time travel into someone's mind.
>>1171507
haha
This is great. way to fuckin be reynolds
>>1190755
His power is knots, what'd you expect?

That laugh in the helicopter sounded great.

Fuck, and I thought I was a nitpicker

>>1163986
The film was always gonna be pretty bad there was no need at all for the second movie in your universe to be a battle between two underdeveloped character one of which hasn't even had a solo movie yet.
Then as a bonus you cram in DD, WW, LL and a cameo for every fucking member of the JL.
It all just looks like one big dumb rush to catch up to the MCU with no thought or plan.
>>1181214
the film is terrible move on.

Huh, this is apparently her first movie role.

>>1190077
Unbearable.
>>1190776
>muh dancing around laughing and smiling
It's highlighting the reverence people have for him.
And at other points in the film it points out that yeah being Superman's a bit of a burden.
>>1200780
That was because in that instance he was shot point blank in the head, which is a lot different from a bullet striking his body from a distance.
>>1190755
Yeah my bet is he dies within minutes of landing
>>1165790
Light has a travel time, but at that distance it shouldn't be that much of a difference.
