I'm fed up with the modern world. Post any and all papes that feature classical art. Paintings, sculpture, architecture. I'll start with what I've got.

This painting is currently in a museum in Fort Worth, Texas. It's really huge and completely breathtaking.
I am willing to download and seed a torrent with 100s of gigabytes of this sort of art forever.
This one is my favourite

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Velarium
A velarium ("curtain") was a type of awning used in Roman times. It stretched over the whole of the cavea, the seating area in the Colosseum, to protect spectators from the elements. Precisely how the awning was supported is a matter of conjecture.
The velarium that covered the Colosseum in Rome provided both shade and slight protection from rain, although the main use of the velarium was to create a ventilation updraft, creating circulation and a cool breeze. Sailors, specially enlisted from the Roman naval headquarters at Misenum and housed in the nearby Castra Misenatium, were used to work the velarium.
is this old enough?
