Post anything relating to humans transcending our biological limits. Beyond that, anything goes.

Just letting you know that transhumanism is pure fantasy. You'll never be a cool cyborg like those in Westworld or whatever it is you millenials watch nowadays.
Evolution will go on though.

Wow, when did you learn to see the future?
>>6833946
It comes with giving up on manchild fantasies.
That's not to say that robotics and AI aren't advancing very fast right now, but YOU will never be le badass ghost in the shell.

i didnt know there were this passive aggressive memes about transhumanism. in fact i didnt know there where any memes about transhumanism at all
anyway, somebody out there seems to have quite some hate against a neat sci-fi idea to dream about.

Okay.

>you millenials
Spotted the millennial.

wtf no one sayd even anything. even if we won't experience it transhumism is going to happen. do you wear glasses? if yes you are technically a cyborg.

>I made a MSpaint comic guys please accept me

Just wanted to mention, that's a Techpriest you've got there. From WH40k. They're not a good example of transhumanism. They're caught up in thousands of years of dogma that stops them from making any progress at all.

Sure, Evolution will go on much like scientific and technological advancement; until it is stopped by an outside force.
If human beings were to be able to create artificial sentience with "survival" tendencies and a need to adapt, we could in theory see that biological evolution in a human species. if I were to put all the data in and off my mind in a machine, and run the data from in my mind to the standards of the data about the mind's means of function, I could simulate a human brain; I could simulate myself. I could have an AI "clone" of myself.
Tell me why we won't ever see a mind simulated in a robot functioning with mock life parameters (copies itself to a new unit with a mix of code coming from another unit, learns behaviors from observation, goes on to run algorithms in attempt to better their kind along physical and software capabilities).
Tell me why we will never see the human mind become artificial, and then upgraded, anon
