My cat died tonight. I am feeling really upset about it. He was 17. I could really use some cheering up.
sorry OP. 17 is pretty old for a cat, sounds like he had a good life. Take some solace in knowing that he loved you (?) and you made his life better.

Any funny cat stories to share? (will dump whatever I feel like dumping)
Anything specific you want OP?
>not wallpaper but related
Your cat lived its life to the fullest
When my cat was about a year old, i would go running through the house. He would jump out from under the table and bite me on the ankle but sometimes he would be so into getting me he would bite me on the ass. We just got gone digging the hole in the rain. and anything specific? i like dark things? ill post some.

>my cat died tonight
>post naked anime papes
17 years is really old cat age. If he lived that so long I think he had good life. The worse thing is when your cat dies in accident. Sorry OP, I know how does it feel to lose your furry friend.
Cats live in the moment, every day of their lives. They don't fear death; they don't know what that is. A cat puts all of itself into whatever it chooses to do, completely. Tou, Anon, made that life possible for your cat.
For OP's cat. Sorry for your loss.

Their not "naked anime papes" the image OP has used is from a well known artist called Chiara Bautista, her artwork expresses a lot of emotion,

What kind of fucking dog would enjoy this shit? Can you seriously train a dog to fight the instinct and their almost near certainty that they are going to die?

Take this happy ass dog, OP. Sorry about your loss. My cat is turning 21 or so this year. He's actually older than me. When he goes, a piece of myself will die with him.
>>6362236

>>6363156
they cuddle profusely. those characters are mostly innocent and shit, she has a few other characters that she draws regularly that are slightly more intimate tho. but not by much.

Sorry for ruining the mood, but where do those two characters come from? I see them all the time but I have no clue where they come from.
Sorry to hear about that, OP. I hope you find peace soon.
Sorry for your loss, OP.
>>6362631
I love you
You should celebrate. I think 17 is the average "long" lifespan of a cat.
My dog died at 14. I had him since I was 10 =*(
Then, oddly enough that day, I noticed in the paper that it was saying something about 14 years being the average long end of the lifespan for a dog.
Oh, and when you are going to look for wallpapers of "old cats", make sure to type something like that instead of "old pussy"...
>>6362633
Oh my god is that baboo
sorry for your loss, op.
you will meet again
Sorry for your cat anon
>>6362192
sorry man cats are chill as fuck.. hopefully this will cheer you up

life goes on
Sorry to hear about that OP, losing a loved one is always tough. Maybe this quote from Slaughterhouse Five can help you like it's helped me:
>The most important thing I learned on Tralfamadore was that when a person dies he only appears to die. He is still very much alive in the past, so it is very silly for people to cry at his funeral. All moments, past, present and future, always have existed, always will exist. The Tralfamadorians can look at all the different moments just that way we can look at a stretch of the Rocky Mountains, for instance. They can see how permanent all the moments are, and they can look at any moment that interests them. It is just an illusion we have here on Earth that one moment follows another one, like beads on a string, and that once a moment is gone it is gone forever.
>When a Tralfamadorian sees a corpse, all he thinks is that the dead person is in bad condition in the particular moment, but that the same person is just fine in plenty of other moments. Now, when I myself hear that somebody is dead, I simply shrug and say what the Tralfamadorians say about dead people, which is "So it goes."

Do dogs understand the concept of death though? After a couple of jumps he would learn that it would not bring him pain, and that he would probably receive treats at the end of it so he stopped giving a shit, just my 2 cents.
Dogs seem to instinctively understand they are going to "die"; or however they view that.
My dog did that stereotypical thing, where after having his stroke he'd want outside and he'd lie under the same bush for hours. Then he'd eventually come back in. Finally, after three days, he died under that bush. It was really weird, because he never went under there before that. Its like he knew what was going to happen, instinctively, and was waiting. It was kind of creepy.
This is unrelated, but I felt I should post a wallpaper.
My cat died, 11 years old, this spring.
Time moves on.
17 ? Holy moly
Thats 119 in dog years
>>6362192
Wow, 17. He was with you for a long time and you were with him till the end.
What kind of walls do you like OP?
>>6362192
>carry on OP
>>6364972
Cute, reminds me of mine, she had respiratory problems, started coughing from time to time and ended up refusing to eat, we tried everything but nothing worked, found her one day under my bed, just laying dead there like she knew what was going to happen, it was fucking horrible. This shit is common on siamese cats, wish I knew about this sooner. You do now anon so you better take her/him to the vet every now and then even if she has nothing
>>6367542
>Do dogs understand the concept of death?
Yes, you retard. That's one of the few things almost every animal understands.
>>6362192
I find this one comforting
I dug around my folders for you for this one
I'm sorry OP. I really am. My pets have been raised by me since they were 2 weeks old. I had to feed them milk with a syringe everyday at 6 am... I don't know what it will be like when they're gone, the truth is, a good part of your life becomes one with theirs. But right now I think you have to cherish your good moments and carry on.
