hey you turboniggers, it's not every day that we got to try an unrelased SNES RPG in english for the first time.
let's discuss this

Happens a few times a year but thanks for bringing it to my attention will probably give it a play although I prefer platforming ARPGs.
What OP said, arpgs fag reporting here, EVERYBODY JOIN THE THREAD.
>The patch is based on the French patch by 4ph with French translations by Spring and Hiei.
But the SFC port was crap.
The site also says that the patch was released months ago.

No reason to play it when the infinitely better MSX version is available in English.
>>4237268
so uhh... is it a good RPG?
>>4237268
thanks for letting us know
>>4237637
So far not really. The hit detection is pretty terrible.
>>4237637
3 is the best 1 & 2 are okay
>>4237487
And the MSX one is still bad compared to the untranslated x68000 and PCE-CD versions.
>>4237268
Man, i wish we could have all Xak games from PC Engine translated, then we would have all the best versions and in english, we already have all the msx ones and the Eternal Recurrence translated, we need I,II and Fray on Pc Engine.

No idea, this webm is from the first msx one.
Snes one.
>>4238648
You've got to push enemies into walls.

Most of the computer ports are pretty bad since they first ported from MSX to PC88 and then to the other systems.
The PCE has 1 and 2 in a single package similar to Ys 1 and 2. This gives you a pointless jump button in 1.
The SFC replaces the bump system with an attack button.

Did the developers intended to show you square pixels?
dis one of em falcom games kids play these days?
>>4239290
No idea, you tell me.
>>4239635
nah
>>4237268
reminds me of Ys
is it good?
>>4242593
3 is quite good
In the computer versions, bump combat was only in the first game, and they went with swinging a sword starting with the 2nd one.
In the PC Engine games it's bump combat in all three. I guess the company doing the port figured Ys was popular on PCE.
