I was going to play Exile: Escape From the Pit with my wife, but it won't work on Windows 7. Any ideas for a replacement? My criteria are:
- Very similar rules to D&D
- Turn-based so we can play it for 20-30 minutes at a time and pick it up again later
- Character design so we can make Mary Sues
- No furry shit

Get the OracleVM. https://www.virtualbox.org/ Have it run XP. You can now run all of the Exile games.

Exile isn't the ideal game; if it was I'd just get an old laptop & install XP.
