Sorry to kill some KOF thread but I gotta get my answer somwhere.
I'm using BSNES and for some reason whenever I go into fullscreen mode it applies that shitty smoothing shit on top of everything. When it's windowed the game looks just fine, I don't use any filters or anything and I got no idea how to get it to stop that shit. How I make it so fullscreen mode keeps the video sharp and crisp?I'm asking because I'm trying to play Terranigma for the first time

bsnes usually has a setting for bilinear filtering in the options, but you probably already have that disabled. IIRC it also has different renderers. Default is probably OpenGL, so you could try changing that too.
It's also possible this is a GPU driver setting, so try looking there as well.
If none of that works there are other emulators/frontends out there. BizHawk and Mednafen are respectable and both use bsnes cores, there's also RetroArch. Snes9x will also work.
Nevermind I fixed it, apparently BSNES has Smooth Video Output separate for both windowed and fullscreen. Guess I accidentally hit the hotkey for it last time I used it for Secret of Mana.
Sorry KoF thread
