Does anyone here on /vr/ own a Amiga CD32? If so, what are the best games on it?
I've got one that I picked up for £5 cos the woman thought it was a CD player. It came with Liberation which makes no sense to me. I also have a disc of 100 Amiga 'classics' which is just Commodore 16 games... I really don't think anything 'decent' came out on it. For me, it's just an oddity that I picked up hella cheap.
Zool 2 is great.

How common are CD32s in the UK? I know they were released in Canada (not in the US unfortunately), but the only relevancy they had was in the UK.

Freaking limeys having enough of these to buy them at yard sales and thrift stores. I would pay as much as $50 for one but even importing from the UK I'd have to pay $120+ which is still half what they go for on the US eBay.
I want it because it's just fire up and go unlike an A1200 or something. I have an A500 but it needs repair and it's pretty low on my list.
As far as the retail library goes, a lot of it is multiplat especially sharing PC releases and they're pretty expensive or the US versions are anyway.
The reason I'd get it is for the compilations. Amiga wizards have made CD images that you just burn and then you've got hundreds of diskette games that just run straight from a kid-friendly menu. q.v. Tosec and 200, 444, & 800-in-1s

What does that even mean?
We live in a timeline where Amiga CD32 developer kit was leaked, so grab your favorite Amiga conversion or compilation.

Captive 2 Liberation is kind of interesting.

it's shocking how bad Zool 1 is in comparison.
Zool 2 could've used a nice Genesis port, instead of the freaking Jaguar
