To make the OP clearer, I've posted a screenshot of Bubble Trouble which is an online flash game.

I'm looking for classic arcade (japanese?) games with the same gameplay. More recent entries are welcome. I've tried "The Bug Butcher" but it sucked.

It's the Pang/Buster Bros series. Some clones are out there, like Monsters World. Bubble Struggle 2 is my favorite though.

The first I played, and possibly the original of the genre (a guess), was Pang! on the amiga. It's better than the pictured clone, imo.
