How difficult would it be to make your own Repro cart of this once it comes out on the SNES mini to play on an original SNES?
>>
NES mini was btfo like first week.

It won't be long. How much is actually changed is anyone's guess.

alright so it'll be easy to get the ROM, but is it difficult to make it into a repro cart? I've never made one before.

As far as I know super-fx chips need to be transplanted. That by itself is a bit of a feat.
>>
>>4185745
Ok that sounds pretty hard to do. Do people these kinds of things premade online? (sorry for all the spoonfeeding)
>>
>>4185752
some do yeah. Super FX-2 is only in 4 games though. It will probably cost you a decent penny for one.
>>
>>4185763
ok thanks for the help

Might be pretty difficult.

I suspect Nintendo will modify the rom a bit in order to run smoother on the Mini, so it'll likely not be compatible with an actual FX chip all said and done.
>>
You need an eprom, an eprom burner, wires, basic soldering skills and a stunt race fx cart youre ready to kill.

it'd be nice if people used FPGA instead of gutting the cannibalizing number of SuperFX2 carts out there.

Does anyone have hope that this delayed release to a canceled game will be any good?
>>

You can play it all basically right now. No one even knows if they are touching up the game in any way.

I thought the rom that was mostly out there for SF2 was a mostly complete one that still needed some fan work done on it. Is there an actual 200% complete SF2 rom out there? I'm currently planning on shilling out the stupid costs for the SNES mini simplky for SF2, but if there are other means to get it on a cart and running on original hardware, I'm game for that. Even if they do a digital release through the Wii store or whatever, that might be acceptable. Why doesn't Nintendo want my money for work they already did 20 years ago?
