But they are. I got an SNES knock off for dirt cheap. The only gripe I have with it is that the d-pad is sometimes unresponsive, but it happens so rarely that it is not a big issue and I have never lost a game because of it. Since it is USB it is perfect for what I need.
I grew up playing SNES (even though the NES was my first console) so I know exactly what the real thing should feel, look, and play as and the one I got is not really that different.
Of course, I still have a real SNES with original controllers, which you could argue are of better quality the buttons for example feel a bit nicer and you can definitely tell the plastic is more dense, but like I said, the knockoffs are not too far off.

I just want it to be released so I can avoid buying one and also get Star Fox 2 on my Wii (since the Everdrive or SD2SNES probably won't play it).
